DJ is a dear friend and co-worker of mine. I have had the honor of photographing all of her life events, from her engagement to her wedding to the birth of her two sons. This session was a holiday session that was also her 1st Christmas for her baby boy.

We met at a small but lovely neighborhood park here in Houston called Parkwood Park in Riverside Terrace, near their home. The trees have nice Spanish moss in them…

DJ brought a few holiday themed props for Baby F…

This image makes me chuckle because G had had enough of family photos so he was back there exploring while we took a few more pictures.

Finally, DJ also asked me to create a custom holiday card with photos from her session and this is what I created for her – it’s a two sided 5×7 card design.

I look forward to photographing more moments for this wonderful family and watching the boys grow up!
